Wounded State for Red
We really hope that we can implement the wounded mechanics in the upcoming Demo. Red already has quite a few locomotion animations and we will be adding more. Our goal is not just make a straightforward by the numbers beat 'em up game. We want to introduce fresh mechanics.
The wounded idle state alone is 42 frames!
We've already combined fighting with shooting. But fighting itself also needs to be interesting. And we want to introduce this high stakes situation where the player is wounded and has to manage the condition. We hope it will work as intended but we will need your help to test it out!
